20 Years of Impact, in action.
Thank you to our many partners, and a special thank you to our MN Food Bank partner, The Food Group.
The Food Group Hosts a 20th Birthday Party for FINNEGANS
In honor of 20 years of FINNEGANS they threw a party with impact. Volunteers packed over 4,000 lbs of nutritious foods and an additional 550 lbs of black beans, a fitting celebration we are so appreciative of!
We also want to highlight the great work the Food Group is doing in partnership with EPNI in the Elliot Park neighborhood, providing produce free of charge and meat and fish for sale to our neighborhood (an area that suffers from access to groceries).
Bank Cherokee Shred Event – Smith Ave & North Oaks
The team at Bank Cherokee have been busy raising funds and food for their local communities! Smith Ave branch’s SHRED event, with FINNEGANS RFT onsite, raised 497 lbs of food for the Neighborhood House and $550 for the Harvest for the Hungry program (local produce for local food shelves, through The Food Group).
Pay Gap Comedy & Music Festival
Creating joy and getting people back to the State Fair Grounds, the Pay Gap Comedy & Music Festival went above and beyond to raise overflowing barrels of in-kind food donations, and over $350 to support local produce for local food shelves. Check out the online silent auction and be a part of raising even more for the FINNEGANS Community Fund and MNIVA https://www.32auctions.com/PayGapFestivalFundraiser
The Charitable Foundation for the National Air Traffic Controllers Association made a generous donation to the FINNEGANS Community Fund of $2,000 to support local produce for local food shelves. We are so grateful for their continued support, and the est 2,000 lbs of local produce that has been funded for those in need!
To the many long-time supporters, from monetary donations, to time and energy to make the Reverse Food Truck visiting events possible, and to the community you create. THANK YOU for all you do and donate, you are an incredible community!
