FINNEGANS and MNFoodShare’s partnership

MN Foodshare campaign

For the second year in a row, FINNEGANS is teaming up with MN Foodshare and will have all of our profits go to support their March Campaign. The March campaign works with over 300 food shelves and works as a state wide initiative to bring awareness and funds to the food shelves across MN.

What can you to do help? Keep scrolling down!

Chef food fight

In support of the MN Foodshare’s Hunger Awareness Month, FINNEGANS has partnered with local chefs to do a FINNEGANS Chef Food Fight. No, it won’t be that kind of food fight, it’ll be a different kind of food fight. One benefiting our hungry neighbors.

Chefs were invited to develop a menu item using FINNEGANS Beer (the Irish Amber, Dead Irish Poet Stout, or the Hoppy Shepherd) and sell it on their menus for the month of March. These dishes will be sold at each representing establishment and a donation will be made per dish sold by each establishment.

We encourage you to go out and try and then vote for your favorite on our website and the top 4 will go live and present their dish on WCCO’s Midmorning show with Jason DeRusha. Jason is the honorary chair of the MN FoodShare March campaign and he will be the face of the FINNEGANS Chef Food Fight.

Vote now for your favorite dish and support MN Foodshare in helping those in need.

Empty our shelves to fill theirs

It’s simple, empty the shelves at liquor stores and you help fill the shelves at the food shelves.

We have teamed up with local retail establishments to promote filling food shelves by providing reusable tote bags to fill with non-perishable donations and then bring them to the Reverse Food Truck at the St. Paul’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade (Noon). Food drives are happening now through March 17th. Big thanks to the bag sponsors: MN Foodshare, Failte MN, Extended Exposure and The Beer Dabbler.

The Reverse Food truck will be coming out of hibernation and be making it’s way out to different locations all across the Twin Cities including the St. Paul St. Patrick’s Day parade! Please check back on our site to see where the next upcoming RFT event will be.
