The FINNEGANS Community Fund is a 501(c)3 non profit organization. Our mission is to alleviate hunger through sustainable, scalable and innovative methods and partnerships and to serve as a catalyst for social entrepreneurs to advance charitable purposes.
We’re appreciative of the support of FINNEGANS SBC, in donating profits and in-kind support, and are proud to put these funds to work supporting local produce for local food shelves.
The FINNEGANS Community Fund partners with a food bank each in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin (previously and hopefully again in the future Iowa). All funding to food bank partners supports local produce for local food shelves. We believe that everyone should have access to nutritious foods, and that we can make an impact not only in food access but in supporting the local food system.
The FINNEGANS Community Fund also puts an emphasis on supporting innovation, and in experiencing the impact of social enterprise first-hand, is thrilled to support the growth of social enterprise; from FINNternships giving college students and professionals looking for career change an experience in social entrepreneurship, to supporting the Neighborhood Development Center and FINNOVATION Lab’s charitable purpose activities to help share the impact of social enterprise.
Our volunteers, known as TeamFINNEGANS, share their time and energy to support food shelves, food bank partners, and farm partners. These super-supporters also help make the FINNEGANS Reverse Food Truck possible.
Join us in making a difference for those in need today.
The FINNEGANS Community Fund is also grateful to receive support from various generous organizations and we’re excited to add more information about them soon!
