As the weather changes again. It always seems to change regularly month to month here in the Great North. This isn’t a weather report now on to the beer. We are getting excited for the bigger and bolder of our beers to start arriving to your glasses and pints. The Summer winds have died off and Fall has quickly taken over our day to day lives. The weather is colder, hoodies are finally starting to come out of the closet and flannels are Logan and I’s daily repertoire. Up here in Minneapolis, we have been making sure our Barrels of Life Series for 2019 has begun to be brewed and planned. Coming to the tanks soon and ones that are ready for their barrels are coming to fruition. Grain is here, yeast is arriving and more barrels should be arriving soon. Here what we have been up to.

Brim Reaper Rye IPA is our newest beer to join our year round offerings- tested out in the Brewer’s Den and taproom and now coming to a liquor store/bar near you. A 7% IPA brewed with 10% Rye malt which incorporates spicy and dry characteristics then hopped with a heavy dose of Mosaic, Simcoe, Cascade and Falconers Flight hops which gives off a rich bitterness and the aroma of papaya, tangerine, passion fruit, lemon and heavy tropical and citrus notes. With 2017 coming to an end we wanted to reflect on all the amazing growth and opportunities FINNEGANS has been a part of. Every year since FINNEGANS’ Inception (2000) our Rambunctious Social Entrepreneur and CEO Jacquie has given the years a name. At the end of 2016 she dubbed 2017 : The Year of Adventure and Transformation.
With 2018 looming in the distance, we wanted to highlight some of our biggest accomplishments and announcements that truly made 2017 the year of adventure and transformation.
