May Brewer’s Log: Grand Re-Opening & Spring Favorites

May brings my 42nd 365-day trip around the sun and a plethora of new beers to the taproom and in 750 ml bottles available on my special day. We are reopening our taproom with extended hours and programming so you can come by and sit in the sun and enjoy a pint starting May 1. Kicked to the Herb will be gracing our tap lines again on April 29 along with last year’s favorite, Blood Orange Pilsner. We are also celebrating 10 years of having an MS150 team of riders coming down from Duluth to St.Paul to raise money for the MS Society to help fight MS.… Read more

They say April showers bring May flowers. But I say April means baseball is back! Patios are open again and beer needs to be consumed in spring’s full glory, outside. The stouts we brewed for those long cold days and nights will start to disappear, and lighter, hoppier, and seasonal brews will start showing up at our taproom and on the shelves at liquor stores. March Brewer’s Log: St. Patrick’s Day

Oh, March! The greenest month of the year. Not in the “fresh, newly grown grass” kind of way, but in an “Irish pride” sense! Many of us like to claim we’ve got a little Irish blood in us. . Well, 23andMe says I’m about 1.8% Irish or British. Yes!
We will be open on St. Patrick’s Day to celebrate and consume frothy beverages. It seems like years ago that we shuttered our doors for last year’s celebration, but really it’s only been 365 days. February Brewer’s Log: Pulling Copper

February. The cold weather is setting in for that final push of winter. Then greener grass will be just around the corner. Things might also be getting greener as St. Patrick’s Day is looming. If you didn’t already know, we are pretty busy this time of year, brewing for that oh-so-special day. This month, I’m starting it off with a new beer that’s exclusive to the taproom.
