They say April showers bring May flowers. But I say April means baseball is back! Patios are open again and beer needs to be consumed in spring’s full glory, outside. The stouts we brewed for those long cold days and nights will start to disappear, and lighter, hoppier, and seasonal brews will start showing up at our taproom and on the shelves at liquor stores. For those who have been stopping by for growlers and pints, a few of your favorites will be gracing our tap lines soon. Tile Factory and this year’s Tipped Cow will be back on April 15. As for the Twins’ Home Opener on April 8, a new refreshing and crisp pilsner will be joining the spring line-up—exclusively at the taproom.

Bella Pilz   5.9% ABV 40 IBUS

Bella Pilz is an Italian-style pilsner brewed with German Pilsner Malt and St. Aurora hops. It’s a slightly hoppier pilsner, but still thirst-quenching and totally crushable. The dry-hopping helped bring out more of the Noble hops character and added a little hop bite at the beginning of your sip. The process also dried out the malty sweetness of the German pilsner malt on the back end. My brewing team and I find this to be a quite delightful beer, or as its name says, it’s a “Beautiful Pilz.”

We would like to express our gratitude to all of our fans and friends who showed up at the taproom on St. Patrick’s Day. It was truly humbling and joyous to see all of your smiling faces again. As for this spring, look for a few old favorites to grace our tap lines again. I will be telling you more about them in my May post. Take care of each other as the (hopeful) end to this pandemic keeps getting closer. ‘Til we see you again, keep your heads up and toss back a few FINNEGANS brews on your porch or on our patio. Cheers!
