At FINNEGANS we share in the collective sadness and pain at the murder of George Floyd. We stand for justice and societal reform to create a more equitable community for all. We are disheartened by the violence which marred the peaceful protests and caused so many minority entrepreneurs to lose their livelihoods and took focus from the important calls to action. We can and need to do better.

This week we collected food and supplies from our caring and active community of supporters for those neighborhoods most in need at this time. Thank you to all who contributed. Beginning Monday, June 8th, we will again be collecting food and supplies in our Reverse Food Truck parked in our Courtyard outside of our taproom at 817 S. 5th Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55404. We are grateful to all of our supporters who have and continue to help.

After close to 3 months of being unable to share our beer and commitment to helping others, we will reopen our courtyard patio on June 8th at 3 p.m. We will have social distancing in place to comfortably and safely seat 50 patrons at any one time. To make reservations, please go to our website or click here. We will also be restarting curbside growler sales on that day, which will have the same hours as our patio – Monday-Friday 3-9pm and Saturday 1-10pm.

In an effort to support our neighbors at this critical time, FINNEGANS will provide a list of local restaurants that deliver directly to our patio and provide a variety of food options for our customers.

We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back! We encourage everyone to bring donations of food or critical supplies or we also accept tax deductible monetary donations for these neighborhoods as well. Never has FINNEGANS mission of Turning Beer into Food been more critical or relevant, and we ask that all of our friends do what they can to help ensure that everyone in our community has enough food to eat.

Please join us for some much needed camaraderie on our patio and help us continue to feed those in need in our community.

We have missed you!
Jacquie
