What experience did you take away that has been the most helpful in your job now?
Working at larger events and managing volunteers has helped me in my current position from having to managing multiple tasks at once and different kinds of people.
How did your experience at FINNEGANS help you land your job you have right now?
By sharing the FINNEGANS story to all those you meet, it has helped me prepare for interviews as well as learning how to adapt your marketing style to your audience.
Do you feel more connected to your local community? Do you feel like you have made a positive impact in your local community?
I definitely become part of different communities including Minnesota craft beer community, FINNEGANS volunteer community, Irish community, Social Entrepreneur companies, and more. Being involved with FINNEGANS has given me an insight into different events through out the Twin Cities that I wouldn’t have known about before. I was able to see the impact that the brand has on people at each event when they praised the mission and products.
What was your favorite part of FINNternship?
No one can say what their favorite part of FINNEGANS is; weather it is the beer, the mission, or the people behind it you can’t go wrong. But if I was to choose one, I loved working alongside other craft beer companies to learn more about the industry and products along with hearing from the experts how great FINNEGANS is. (Off the record, going out for my birthday and toasting with my 1st legal Blonde Ale drink was pretty cool)
