HEARING THE TEAM’S STORIES HELPS BRING WHAT WE DO TO LIFE.

Hello! Jacquie Berglund here, CEO of FINNEGANS. I wanted to take this chance to welcome you to our new blog. We at FINNEGANS were quite busy during September, celebrating our tenth year in business (our FINNTENNIAL as we called it). We had events all over the state of Minnesota and capped everything off with an appreciation party on September 30th here at our International Headquarters in downtown Minneapolis. We rent a few rooms in this cool old mansion; isn’t it neat?

The party was to honor and say thank you to all the volunteers that have made us successful over the last ten years. It was the least we could do for these wonderful people who’ve poured countless pints of beer, sold merchandise, and even helped out with marketing, sales and operations. No way we would be where we are today without them!

At FINNEGANS, we aim to be an inspirational, socially-minded business, and we hope this blog helps to illustrate that. You’ll hear from me, but, more importantly and more often, you’ll hear from others inside TeamFINNEGANS (we have a great post coming up from one of our FINNterns so be sure to stay tuned for that). We want this blog to paint the picture of who we are and how we operate, and perhaps serve as a little inspiration for you. You’ll also hear from some of the organizations receiving grants from our FINNEGANS Community Fund. I always think hearing their stories helps bring what we do to life. Drinking beer (even for charity) is all well and good, but hearing directly from the community benefactors always puts life in perspective.

So, I hope you enjoy! Soon you’ll be able to leave your own comments, but we ask that you be nice and constructive, even funny! Some good Irish humor always does a lad or lass some good!

Cheers!
Jacquie
