Since the beginning of charitable beer, FINNEGANS has been housed in the historic Hinkle-Murphy mansion in downtown Minneapolis. It served us wonderfully for 12 years, but like all kids on their 12th birthday, we knew it was time to move out of mom and dad’s and into our own place. It didn’t feel right to leave the neighborhood, (plus our stuff was pretty heavy) so we ended up about a block away next door to the lovely Segue Cafe.

The new digs might not have the charming history of the old mansion, but now that we’re all moved in, the place has an unprecedented FINNEGANS feel to it. Check out those beautiful green walls! After an exciting 2012 of releasing Blonde Ale, getting our own theme song, raising unforeseen fortunes for local food shelves during our March pub crawls, getting our own tap lines at Target Field, this new headquarters feels like the icing on the cake. A delectable green cake with beer filling.

We’re still in the process of moving in, so don’t think you’ve seen all of our FINNEGANS decor just yet. Stay tuned for updates!

Here’s to doing good.
