FINNEGANS had a banner year in 2012, and we plan to only do more in 2013. Because of all the pints you drank, all the dollars donated by individuals and companies to our community fund, all the giving partners that hit the ground running with us, we were able to raise more than $100,000 this year for the FINNEGANS community fund. That’s over $100,000  for feeding the hungry and giving business to local farmers, all raised in the communities that were served. Our Drink Like You Care campaign, in which distributors and vendors match our donations during the holiday season, raised over $16,000! So to all our FINNEGANS drinkers, distributors, vendors, and partners, be proud of your commitment to your community!

On top of the money raised for the FINNEGANS community fund, we helped Harvest for the Hungry raise 105,325 pounds of food in 2012. That’s a pretty unfathomable amount of food. Really, try picturing that all in one place! $65,000 of the FINNEGANS community fund was donated to Harvest for the Hungry, adding to generous donations from The Wedge and individual CSA members.

So what could we possibly have in store for 2013 that will top our efforts from last year? Well, we have one special announcement to make right of the bat: Blonde Ale is coming back on February 1! And this time, it’s not just seasonal—we’ll be producing Blonde Ale year-round from now on! Your favorite blonde will never leave you again, but she might get jealous later in 2013, because rumor has it that FINNEGANS may be putting out a third brew next fall/winter…STAY TUNED FOR DETAILS!

We’re so glad we had all of our fans and supporters on board in 2012, and in 2013 we’re going to give you even more ways to do good. So strap in, enjoy the ride, but by all means, don’t keep your hands inside the vehicle at all times. Keep them reaching for a cold FINNEGANS and reaching out to your community.

Here’s to doing good.
